At Bitten by the Bug 2 the challenge is to include a cupid or a heart. This gave me a reason to use the Cupid Bear in Teddy Bear Parade. These bears are so cute!
A little bit of vintage photo distress ink helps to accent the cuts. I used the Phrases cartridge to create the hearts. I used the same one, 1/2 inch difference, on floral paper and white, then added the word 'love' from the same cartridge. I'm using these corners a lot lately; I like their design and they make a nice filler. They come from the Picturesque cartridge. A couple of rhinestones from my stash and it was done. I like the delicate look it has.
I am entering this card in Bitten by the Bug 2 (include a cupid or heart) and My Craft Spot (For your sweetheart).
Be sure to visit both challenges to see all the entries.
Happy Creating.

Welcome
You are invited to share with me the Joy there is in creating Art. I mean the "I can do it" and "it's fun" and "it's beautiful" kind of art, whether it is "museum quality" or not. Here you will find some of what I like to do and, I hope, share some of your joy, too.
Welcome to my blog, Rae Ann.

Red, White, and Black at Cardz TV
The title says it all --- red, white, and black.
I used the cricut Create a Critter cartridge for the Love Stamp image, and the Phrases cartridge for the phrase. It came together so easily. I love the way the phrases print out with that cartridge.
Go to Cardz TV where you'll see many more entries.

Valentiny's for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #96/Cooking w/ Cricut #71
I love that word 'Valentiny's'. I've done twinchies and thrinchies but never cards this small (3x3). I wanted to use something I never do. I don't have little kids around so I never use some of the cute animal cuts that are around. I decided to go for a "Wild about you" theme. I used the Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge for the animals.
I especially love the little zebra. These were fun.
I am entering these in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge # 96 and Cooking with Cricut #71
FCCB challenged 3x3 Valentines; CWC required a Child's Valentine with pink, red, and white.
Happy creating.

A Valentine Digi
I finally got the urge to try coloring a digi by computer. It's not the best job but now I have a feel for how the program works.
The digi was a freebie at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog where it will be entered. The scalloped frame was cut from the Cricut 'Just Because' cartridge. The arrangement idea came from Crafty Sprouts. Their challenge is to check out a DT member and base a card on one of their creations. I found this card that I liked at Elsa's blog http://cricutlvr.blogspot.com/ and used it as my inspiration. Thanks, Elsa.

Numbers - Bitten by the Bug 2
The theme at Bitten by the Bug 2 is Numbers. After a lot of thought the phrase, "...let me count the ways." came to mind for Valentine's Day. I found numbers and a background for them on the Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge. Here's the result: (the green is not part of the card; it was the background it stood against for the photo.
Check out other entries at Bitten by the Bug 2 Happy Creating!
